The BIOCREDIT Malaria Ag Pf/Pv(pLDH/pLDH)is an in vitro immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of infection by Plasmodium falciparum (through P.falciparum specific pLDH antigens) and Plasmodium vivax (through P. vivaxspecific pLDH antigens) in human venous and capillary whole blood of individuals with signs and symptoms of malarial infection. It is intended to aid in the rapid diagnosis of human malaria infections and to aid in the differential diagnosis of Plasmodium falciparum (P.f) and Plasmodium vivax (P.v) infections. The assay is intended to be used by laboratory professionals and at point-ofcare by healthcare workers or trained lay providers. This test kit consists of test device, assay buffer bottle, inverted cup and instruction for use.
